When planning our trip to Berlin, I knew that I wanted to find somewhere high up that I could get some great views of the city. I initially wanted to go up into the dome of the Reichstag building as it's free, but as that was fully booked the entire weekend, we instead booked tickets to go up into the Fernsehturm.
The Fernsehturm is the TV Tower in the centre of Berlin and is over 350 metres high. You have to pay to go up inside, but it's so worth it for the incredible views.
Within the viewing area there's also a small bar that fits about 15-20 seats. Me and my sister eyed up the gorgeous cocktails so of course we had to get some for ourselves!
We had to wait ten minutes before two seats became free but it was definitely worth the wait. I went for the Planter's Punch as it contained rum and orange juice (two of my favourite things!), whilst my sister went for the Strawberry Kiss.
They were definitely some of the most expensive cocktails I've had, but we didn't splurge on much else throughout the weekend so it was great to treat ourselves.
Although I would have preferred to go inside the Reichstag Dome as it's free, a couple of hours up in the Berlin TV Tower was still definitely time well spent.
I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Berlin!
