A few weekends ago my housemates and I decided to take a drive down to Whitstable. After living in Canterbury on and off for three years this was the first time I'd been to the seaside in Kent, even though Whitstable is only a ten-minute drive away!

We visited one evening after having a very non-productive day nursing a hangover as I was in desperate need of some fresh air. Don't worry Mum - I was safe to drive!

Whitstable is a cute, little seaside town, full of unique, independent shops & pubs, that's still beautiful in the evening. I'm already wanting to go again during the day to visit the cupcake shop...

We picked the perfect evening for a stroll alongside the sea. The weather was amazing, it wasn't too cold and there was no wind (a rare treat when you're at the beach).

Whilst having a good old gossip and girly catch-up, we wandered along the beach watching the sunset. I ended up snapping a few too many photographs, and we all kept admiring the adorable dogs running around & playing.

It was the perfect way to spend an evening, and somehow made me feel slightly less guilty about doing no revision that day.
