I thought I'd ease myself in after the Christmas break with finally writing up a post about my holiday to California last month!
I started off the trip by visiting San Francisco for two nights, The hotel I stayed in was amazing, the bed must have been the size of three single beds put together! I did a lot of shopping, saw the Golden Gate Bridge, and went to Fisherman's Wharf. I fell in love with San Francisco, it was so picturesque.
I then flew down to Los Angeles and spent three nights there. I stayed in a great apartment near the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which may sound impressive but Hollywood is nothing like I thought it would be! It was very busy, and quite frankly the parts that I did see where dirty and didn't make me feel safe at all. Maybe I did Hollywood wrong?!
Whilst I was in L.A. I went to Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach where I met up with an old university friend, and then on Thanksgiving I went to Disneyland! I've never been before, so it was the greatest day ever! The weather was amazing, I went on all of the rides, and ate a lot of sugar. What more could you want in a day?
